SHOP TECHNICIAN / ASSEMBLER / UPFITTER / SKILLED LABOUR
You are mechanically inclined with some shop experience. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the installation, repair, and assembly of pumps, valves, motors, and various other truck mounted/ hydraulic mobile equipment.

The ideal candidates will have the following:
-Experience with truck-mounted equipment an asset (PTO’s, pumps, hydraulics)
-Will be required to have your own tools
-Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
-Detail oriented, dependable and punctual
-Be a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills

CRANE TECHNICIAN

You are mechanically inclined with crane shop experience. In this role, you will perform the installation, assembly and servicing of cranes and crane accessories / components. There may also be similar responsibilities involving hydraulics, driveline, snow / ice control systems, and other truck mounted equipment.

Qualifications:

Experience with truck-mounted articulating/folding crane service, repair and installation required.

-Experience in hydraulic utility equipment such as aerial devices, digger derricks, chippers, or any   truck mounted specialty equipment an asset.

-Welding certificate/experience an asset.

-Will be required to have your own tools

-Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

-Detail oriented, dependable and punctual

-Be a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills

HALIFAX

Drive Products is a National Distributor of truck mounted equipment, and a Canadian Leader in the design and installation of systems solutions. Due to growing business in our Nova Scotia operations, we have an immediate need for the following at our Halifax location:

 

OUTSIDE SALES REP, TRUCK-MOUNTED EQUIPMENT

As the Outside Sales Rep, you must strive to maintain current customer relationships while constantly securing new customers with the understanding that growth and development of the assigned territory is a major goal. The Outside Sales Rep must have the ability to become knowledgeable of the assigned territory including;

-All identified equipment product lines including, but not limited to, pumps, valves, PTOs, blowers, etc…

-Understanding the marketplace and potential for each product along with complementary product lines such as hydraulics, snow control, driveline etc…

Other responsibilities include contacting new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services; emphasizing product features based on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations; negotiating prices and terms of sales and service agreements; and preparing sales contracts.

 

Qualifications:

-3+ years of relevant experience in the truck equipment market preferred (or equivalent combination of training, education and experience)

-A valid driver’s license

-Truck Equipment, Industry and Hydraulics knowledge an asset

-Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers

-Demonstrated time-management / organizational skills within a fast-paced environment

-Detail oriented with excellent problem solving skills

-Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs such as Windows and Outlook

TERRITORY MANAGER, B2B SALES (QUEBEC)

 

As the Territory Manager, you must strive to maintain current customer relationships while constantly securing new customers with the understanding that growth and development of the assigned territory is a major goal. The Territory Manager must have the ability to become knowledgeable of the assigned territory including;

All identified truck equipment product lines

Understanding the marketplace and potential for each product along with complementary product lines in OEM and Distribution markets (B2B)

Other responsibilities include contacting new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services; emphasizing product features based on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.

 

Qualifications:

  • B2B sales experience
  • A strong willingness to learn
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills
  • A valid drivers license
  • Truck Equipment and Hydraulics knowledge an asset
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and sell value
  • Demonstrated time-management / organizational skills within a fast-paced environment
  • Able to prioritize conflicting responsibilities with a detail oriented with excellent problem solving skills

Gerant de Territoire, B2B (Quebec)

 

En tant que gerant de territoire, vous devez vous efforcer de maintenir les relations avec les clients actuels tout en recherchant constamment de nouveaux clients, puisque la croissance et le deveppement du territoire assigne constituent un objectif majeur. Le gerant de territoire doit avoir la capacite de se familiariser avec le territoire assigne, y compris;

 

  • En plus de connaitre toutes les lignes de produits d’equipements de camion identifiees et de comprendre le marche et le potentiel de chaque produit ainsi que
  • La gamme de produits complementaires sur les marches de l’OEM et de la distribution. (B2B)

 

Les autres responsabilites consistent à communiquer avec les clients actuels et d’enrichir de nouveaux pour discuter de leurs besoins et d’expliquer comment ces besoins pourraient etre combles par des produits et services specifiques. Enfin de mettre l’accent sur les caracteristiques du produit en fonction des connaissances techniques des capacites.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experiénces en vente B2B
  • Une forte volonté d’apprendre
  • Compétences exceptionnelles en matière de service à la clientèle
  • Un permis de conduire valide
  • Connaissance de l’équipement de camion et de l’hydraulique est un atout
